Meet the Team Behind the People’s Museum
The People’s Museum of Limerick is a new project from Limerick Civic Trust, at No. 2 Pery Square, Limerick. Limerick Civic Trust have a long relationship with this building, having first carried out its restoration from 1996 to 1999. The building was opened as ‘The Georgian House and Garden’ by President Mary McAleese in 1999. In 2014, it was purchased by Limerick Council and became ‘Culture House’ during Limerick’s tenure as City of Culture in 2014. Now the building has returned to the care and management of Limerick Civic Trust, and we have ambitious plans for a brand new way to bring it to life!
