Tour The Museum
At the People’s Museum of Limerick, we offer a number of different tours to our visitors. Our house tour will bring visitors through the history of Limerick, with a focus on the social history of the locality, and the wider national and international context.
Journey through time, from the Early modern period, to the Georgian era, from WWI to the Irish Revolutionary period, and right up to the modern day.
Take a tour
Explore and experience our beautiful space and the history of the mighty city we call home.
House Tour
Our house tours can be tailored to your interests or time frame, and generally take an hour to experience, but we can run a tour for up to 90 minutes.
Walking Tours
Our walking tours focus on the Georgian and Medieval eras, and are run from here in the Museum or from the Bishop’s Palace for our Medieval tour.
Group Tours
We welcome your visiting group of any size.
